Introduction to the Handgun

This course is for the new gun owner or for those who are wanting to obtain their first handgun. This course will focus on the BASICS. This is NOT a CCDW course. The main focus of this course is SAFETY and proper handling and operation of your firearm. We do not recommend purchasing a firearm for the purpose of this course. If you already have one bring it, but if you don't, the instructors will have extras for you to try, in which case we will also provide you a holster and magazines. The firearm provided will be a 9mm, so you will still be expected to provide your own ammunition. Safety is our number one priority so In order to participate in this course, you must be willing to take strict directions from the instructors. With that being said, this course has a hard cap of 6 participants. If it is full, you will be put on a waiting list and notified if there is an opening. Anyone unwilling to follow directions and safety protocols from the instructors will be asked to leave with no refund.

Must be 18 years old, able to own a firearm, or if under 18 must attend with a parent or legal guardian.
